Next weekend

Well this time next Friday I should be in my tent after a good ride down and my first port of call will be Bridport in Dorset.
The tent has been up and appears to be water tight
The day I put it up, I left it up over  night.
That night it rained and continued to rain for a couple of days, when it finally stopped I checked it out and no leaks.
I made sure it dried out completely, then packed it away.
I will try it again during the week and spend a night in there.this time

On Wednesday I went out a bought a new tent mat and sleeping bag.
Aventura 2 Man Dome Tent with porch
Halfords  Mummy Sleeping Bag
Halfords Camping Mat.
All I need now is a stove

Making plans

I am @ the moment planning where I will  go for my long weekend tour.in 2 minds to go to North Devon or South Devon but is looking more likely  going to be South Devon

Finally Got her home

I picked  up my new Dawes Galaxy on Saturday 9th of March 2013, a birthday present to me from me

Visit to the bike shop

On my way back home, I called into The Bicycle Chain in Bridgwater and looked @ the Dawes Galaxy 2012 model.
Well I had to take her for a spin on their test track and OMG what a ride, and I knew I had to buy her.
As I am getting  it on the cycle saver scheme through work all the paper work had to be filled in.
So as spring is here, followed hopefully a good summer and weekends away  and even a weeks tour is on the cards

65 miles

I had an amazing ride to day and bagged 65.65 and started in Glastonbury, Meare, Shapwick heath, Shapwick, Catcott over the Levels, Brent Knoll, Breen Berrow, Burnham on sea, High bridge Bridgwater, Bawdrip, Cossington, Chilton Polden, Edington, Catcott, Shapwick, Ashcott, Sharpham and home to Glastonbury.
Lovely sunshine but coming home started to become very  windy
